I think there are 2 ways of looking at it. Some people are answering in terms of how you can adjust to hot and cold. Like you can counter cold with more layers. So sure it might be preferable to be cold with a way of warming up than hot with no way of cooling off. But as far as the pure sensation of being cold vs being hot Ill take hot. Id rather sweat than shiver.
