I'll be boring and go with Vader. Even if this wasn't the film where he was st his best (that being Empire), he commanded the scenes he was in, with the exception maybe being Tarkin ordering Alderaan's destruction. But even with that scene in mind, it makes me appreciate when Vader wasn't put on the pedestal he was after the original trilogy. He was a significant, terrifying figure who didn't need to have a bizarre Jesus origin story.
