Honestly, I always thought Killer Croc had a lot of potential for villain sympathy but they made him so monstrous (i.e., the cannibalism) that it's difficult to empathize with his ostracization driving him to become a killer. I mean yeah, he had it rough but literally eating people? Come the hell on.
