Mamdani did eventually admit to voting for Harris, but, he explicitly clarified, not on the Democratic party line. It's perfectly consistent for someone who's mad at people who said in 2024 that they wouldn't support either candidate to think Democratic part leader doesn't need to gush over Mamdani, because that's actually the exact same thing.
