I actually had a PS 1 (three to be specific) but like my first two PS 1's they went kaput out due to reasons. Usually, it was caused by putting in a dirty uncleaned game disc I rented from a video game store which eventually in time caused my system to start having disc reading problems. After my thirds and final PS 1 bit the dust I had no other choice but to upgrade to a PS 2.

They don't make video game systems as well built as how the NES, Sega Genesis, or SNES was built. Systems these days seem to be super fragile where simple stuff can mess up a system further down the road to the point you need to replace it.
