Never had this problem, but using Amazon as well helps.
This has nothing to do with 4K anything.
And not everything on blu ray will get the 4K treatment, just like not every DVD will get a blu ray treatment.
And if this is an issue TC, it sounds like locally most people buy blu ray and avoid the DVD. A lot of video presses have limited runs. Especially Anime.
