to play devil's advocate a bit, it's perfectly understandable to want or even need so many dogs of that nature of you live in certain areas like that
dopeheads/iceheads/crackheads in rural areas can be of the most sketchy & unpredictably dangerous mf'ers in america, and they like to work both armed and in groups of teams
unfortunate what happened to her, and the owner def shoulda barricaded his property a whole lot better for sure, but it's sorta hard for me to right away wanna totally blame the owner for having them in the first place tbh
