I get sleep paralysis relatively frequently so the hallucinations during it stopped bothering me. Theyre usually negative, whatever, it isnt real. This happned after making my peace with it and for reference, I sleep with my bedroom door closed and locked.
I wake up in sleep paralysis and see my bedroom door open into complete darkness and think well ok here we go again and start to feel the nerves knowing whats probably going to happen. So I close my eyes. Hearing stuff is different from seeing it. My anxiety is rising in anticipation, but suddenly I hear what sounds like an elderly voice speaking Spanish. I live alone. I dont speak Spanish. And all I understood was nino. But the voice was very calming, as though it was telling me everything was okay. And I was able to relax enough to fully wake up.
I dont believe in anything supernatural, but that was probably the wildest sleep paralysis Ive ever had, and Ive seen the shadow people, and the hag, and felt things climb up and onto my chest etc. That was the singular time it has been comforting, but it was also the most unnerving
