Basically the government changed the name of his fruit to hide the fact it was very powerful. It isnt the Gum Gum Fruit. Its the Mythical Zoan Human Human Fruit: Model Nika. His fruit gives him the the power of the Sun God Nika. Who has a rubber body and maybe some other stuff we dont really know about yet. Fire maybe?
