Many of us know but can't do anything about it thanks to politicians enacting legislature that benefits the employer and not the worker.
Imagine how I feel living in NC, one of the worst of worker benefits and an AT WILL state, knowing my head is on the chopping block every hour on the hour. My livelihood is at risk all the time. How can I ask for better when I can be on the street in a week if I even dare?
Trust me, I'd love to go out and protest, but I can't. I can't afford to. I'd like to get out of this dump, but I can't.
