If you're scared maybe talking with friends might give you support. I have Cancer and find it helpful to talk about it at times with trusted friends/relatives/medical people. It's Prostate Cancer which is treatable or often better to not treat it... watchful waiting/active surveillance.
Consider a second opinion if possible.
