OK, yeah, there's definitely some confusion about what I meant, I guess. Left-right = taller than wider; it's split in half vertically, making one side on the left and one on the right. Top-bottom = wider than taller; split horizontally, causing one side on the top and one on the bottom. That's what I was referring to. As for calling it vertical or horizontal, I wasn't aware that was a widely accepted term.
