Are boxers really pushed as the manly underwear? I think boxer-briefs/trunks are more popular, both in general and in popular culture, as the most common and masculine underwear.
Also, what do you usually see athletes and weightlifters wear? Compression shorts, which are most similar to boxer briefs.
