I just joined twitch a few months ago and the way "simp" works is honestly super wholesome. It somehow encompasses fan/supporter/someone who has a crush in a way that's non-judgmental and just very cute. Like when a steamer calls out people as simps it almost has a mother hen sort of feeling to it.
Judging by their recent switch from "blind" playthrough to "first" playthrough (which isn't the same thing) it does seem like the higher ups are more about "looking progressive" without actually making any attempt to be inclusive.
Paratroopa1 posted... People kinda keep misreporting what they said they were gonna do. You just can't like, harass other people by calling them simps, incels, etc. Which is fine.
harassment is already against the rules of twitch, is it not?
