OK. I started the next map and Im already annoyed. First off, which really isnt annoying, I had to restart the map because I never had battalions equipped to Ingrid and Ashe lol. I just forgot to do it. Now to what annoyed me.

1. Gilbert cant Tank shit. My lord. You are a fortress knight. Why cant you tank damage in any significant way? I knew Magic would be a problem but not normal attacks.
2. Since Gilbert cant tank anything, I will have to leave some units behind to protect him. I thought I might get away with just healing him with Psychic. LOL nope
3. Ambush spawns. OK, here is what pisses me off about this. I heard going into Maddening that ambush spawns exist and they move on the same turn. However, up until this point, enemies spawned but didnt move on the same turn. So I assumed they patched it or something. I was surprised but happy. Now this map has the ambush spawns I was expecting. What? Will the game randomly sprinkle in ambush spawns that have enemies move on the same turn while others dont? Why isnt it consistent? That is so stupid. I wont be able to plan off of memory on how the enemy will move when they spawn because of this. Im going to lose it if this inconsistency happens within the same map
Forget about Gilbert. Him getting defeated changes nothing.

Beyond that, yes same turn reinforcement are the worst, but hey, at least you have spanine pulses and don't need to redo entire chapters
