There is clearly no one in the fault. Maybe you're seeing the twig popped out of the side of the fault wall? Maybe from a distance it kind of looks like a person but from where you're standing there's clearly nothing but a small twig with a single leaf.
It's pretty clear you're not going to get over the fault. Maybe there's another place you could visit nearby?
