I wouldn't count on that, as I looked at the comments section out of curiosity, and those were positive.
I've never seen a single episode of Rescue Rangers, but even I can tell this is an adaptation in name only. That said, I don't think that's the point, and the real point appears to be metacommentary poking fun at endless reboots, nostalgia-baiting and crossovers, like a family-friendly version of Jump Street.
