Devaluing guns. Gun sales skyrocket whenever there's a mass shooting. Why would sociopathic business practices want to end something that generates so much revenue and free advertising at the low cost of human lives. Children's lives.

Teach the society that guns aren't cool and it'll be easier to take them away. Sales drop so pro gun businesses can't support their politicians when an anti gun business makes them an offer.

It's literally illegal to disarm American citizens en masse.

Could you elaborate?

Our Constitution is written specifically to protect our fundamental right to firearms. Any attempt to disarm the citizenship is against the Constitution, and is therefore illegal.

I see. I seem to have not been clear in my earlier post. The point I was trying to make was to change society's view on guns so they are more willing to give them up. More willing to pass laws on gun control. I wasn't trying to make a point to forcefully take the guns, but to have guns willingly surrendered. I apologize that my way of communication is.. off.

We already have the ability to voluntarily turn in firearms to the US government - most sheriff's departments do voluntary buybacks, and every courthouse has a dropbox for firearms.

That's nice to know, but most value having their guns more as opposed to whatever they are currently offered.
