Jagr_68 posted... After upgrading my skills and stance techniques moderately, I can confirm this as a nope lol. It really does the stance-switch and combo chains far more efficiently that Nioh wishes it could. In fact, the game is actually somewhat easier the better you improve.
I actually find it a lot easier(and more fun) as you improve. At first I found the combat "ok" but after a few hours and unlocking more of the techniques it really started to mesh with me. It's certainly not the hardest game in the world once you get the hang of it(though bosses are not a cake walk to me) but it's really quite fun and stylish.
