Don't remember the A.I. just being so frustrating. Playing Hard Mode in both games, of course. Your team has to be carried so hard to have even the most miniscule chance of "victory".

In '04 I will be on Dune Sea, Tatooine camping Homestead hard with an AT-ST averaging 80-ish kills per game and these games are still close with us narrowly pulling a win out our ass. And if you want to play as Republic, you can go f*** yourself with a tire iron. 10-15 mins of your life watching Droidekas shred through your reinforcements like it's their job. Pretty much feels like that episode of Futurama where Brannigan describes sending waves after waves of his men into Killbots.

The problems with A.I. seems only more exagerrated in '05. I'll run out the Mos Eisly Cantina with a squad of like 5 other dudes having my back and we'll meet like 3 enemies and all three of them will merc me instantly in absolutely cold blood. I am always Priority number 1 to the enemy and for some reason a single enemy can pretty much solo like 3 or 4 of my teammates with ease even if same class it seems. I feel like as I am taking command posts I am just doing laps around the maps with the enemy because they are always taking one right after I get one of theirs because my teammates cannot hold a position or establish/maintain a push. They are absolutely incompotent in every way compared to enemy A.I.

Maybe I just suck at these games now. At any rate I'm just a bit dissapointed and had to vent. Wish the difficulty could have been handled better than giving the enemy Skynet-level A.I. while your teammates run around like they have brain damage. Wanted to play the games feeling like one man playing an equal part in winning the war. Just feels like you're constantly in a state of "Ffs do I have to do everything myself"?
