Out of the 10 known behaviors, as set forth by the cult education institute, lets see how many we hit:
1. Absolute authoritarianism without meaningful accountability
-Their money will let them get away with whatever they want and, and their fans wont care regardless, so Id say yeah, no meaningful accountability. Check.

2. No tolerance of questions or critical inquiry
-Id say my topics have proven that far beyond any doubt, so check

3. No meaningful financial disclosure regarded budget or expenses
-I mean probably, but hard enough to prove that ill give it a free pass.

4.unreasonable fear about the outside world
-again, my topics have definitively proven this. Check.

5. There is no legitimate reason to leave, and former followers are always wrong in leaving
-hoooboy, if they this nuts about people who dont like kpop, I cant imagine how nuts they are about people who did once, but now dont. thats another big ol check.

6. Former members often relate the same stories of abuse
-Crayon pop, Jessica Jun and others talk about the abuse. Hell, they drove Sulli and Hara to take their own lives (if they didnt just outright kill them for speaking out) Thats a big ol' fat check.
7. There are records, books, news articles or television programs that document the abuses of the group
-This isnt looking good for kpop. Obvious check here.
8. Followers feel they can never be good enough
-BUYBUYBUYBUY BUY! IF YOURE NOT BUYING YOURE TRASH! Thats the kpop mentality. Checkaroonie roo
9. The group is always right
-again, my topics have definitively proven this is true. Check.
10. The group is the exclusive means of receiving validation, no other process is acceptable or credible
-this one is pretty exclusive to a religion, although kpop cultists DO seem to have an irrational hate for other genres of music. Ill give it a generous pass because even if I do its already too late.
Thats 8/10 boxes checked, so yeah, thats official. Kpop is a cult. I think Thats really all that needs to be said on this debate, so the real question is now, what can be done to help the poor suckers who have been duped by these evil men? I don't know if there is anything. Much like scientology, and other cults, I think people just gotta wake upon their own.
This concludes my study on this dangerous genre of music.
Mods have been brainwashed confirmed.
