Also re:gear the EW relic weapon is basically free (just tomes) so you can easily get a 665 weapon at least. You can also upgrade crafted gear to 650 with tomes, or get 650 gear from the most recent alliance raid (which no longer has a weekly loot limit). 660 Gear still requires capped tomes and/or doing the current savage tier, but the tome gear will be added to poetics once DT launches (and the ring will presumably become non-unique)
