super mario rpg was a collaboration between nintendo and squaresoft @LyricaNow it makes sense. I always figured Mallow and Geno were Mario characters and thought it was weird that they never appeared gain in another game. Now I see why.
so nintendo doesnt own mallow or geno so they cant be used without square softs permission so they dont get used
