Call them or go in, obviously. Do you seriously think they're going to remove you from candidacy because you inquired about your application?
You probably didn't get it, though. Apply other places if you haven't already. Getting a job is more shotgun than sniper.
Unless this is a high-paying white collar job or government job, I probably shouldn't assume it's not. Jobs like that will often have a deadline included in the description, and they'll take applications until that date and then sort through the applicants. Check the listing, if it has a deadline day like that maybe don't call them. If you're polite and act confident I don't think it'll hurt you, though.
