Having more def than res was always stupid for an archer, Close Counter no longer unique to him and competes with other strong A skills, Raven tomes being inheritable by units who don't have bad stats and stackable with Triangle Adept. Archers are worse in general now and the good ones have better stat builds, and/or a horse (Bridelina, Innes, Bow Lyn).

I'd be okay with this honestly? A staff user who can carry flier buffs would be nifty (unlike Lucius who totally failed to find a niche). If she's a red I just hope Amiti is good, because the last thing I want is for her to be another Caeda. To be honest if it were up to me I'd make two, with PoR Elincia a staff user and RD Elincia a sword-user.
