2000 was in the lead, but just barely and 1996 was making cuts here and there. Europe was helping 2000 a lot, so it was clear that 2000 was gonna fall behind and probably lose. Deus Ex was in 2000's match picture. Thus, Deus Ex wasn't winning by enough.
