10k max, Id be looking at cars in the $7k to $8k range. Dont expect a $10k car if thats your everything max. Do a lot of research and go to plenty of places and see what they can do. Try to get a loan before hand if thats your route, from your bank or such. The dealership will go crazy no matter what your score is.
