But that means going through rooms you've already finished. And that's not fun since, as you said, this game was not created with stealth in mind. Also, iirc, you can shoot the Gerudos, right. Maybe stock up on arrows and take 'em all out.
You can also hookshot to stun them, but that doesn't stop them from hiding behind walls and whatnot.
