I think the question is more that what makes wired headphones preferable to wireless. I couldn't imagine wiring headphones up to my phone again, I always use wireless or smart glasses. But I'm sure there has be reasons they are preferable and they just don't apply to me so I don't realize them. Only thing I can think of is charging but that really isn't an issue for me. I guess maybe sound quality is better too?

i got put on ignore but thought i'd come back to answer this:

the biggest problem for me is they're so inconvenient. now i have a little case i have to carry with me whenever i take my headphones out. if i was happy to carry a little headphone case around at all times maybe my wires wouldn't be damaged all the time, which is the reason i did think to make the switch! then there's the fact that they just don't stay in for prolonged periods of time, and mine always seem to want to fall out exactly when i'm like crossing the road or near water or other hazards, i am almost sure these things will kill me if i keep them for long. and it turned out the wire was a real good solution to that as like, a tether - never had to run back into the road to pick up my wired headphone. and then lastly yeah i just don't need my phone battery dying even quicker because now i have bluetooth on all day AND if i go on a trip I'm gonna need a second pair to swap to while these things charge. Just don't get how this works for people

BUT specifically to boko i was more wondering like, if he doesn't use headphones particularly often or something, because it seemed a strange way to put it. whichever style of headphones i am using, it's for like multiple hours every day of my life
