Yeah, I honestly wasnt as hooked on season 2 much in the beginning. The tone was all over the place. Some episodes it was pretty dark and some it was your typical goofy Shonen. Went 0 to 80 at the end in terms of darkness, but I dug it since the plot seemed to really progress.
I was mainly following it since I had already invested so much time. It was more of an obligatory watch as it aired, but now I'm actually pretty eager for the 3rd season. Even picked up the Manga.
