I feel this. I also regularly get reminded of the existence of a well known psychological blind spot because the same types have a hard time turning their necks 45 degrees to read a sign.
Haha. You think that's bad? When I worked at a gas station in Colorado 10+ years ago, we had a giant sign in our door that said Employees Only, because it entered behind the counter.
I lost count if how many people would try to door, look up and at me through the glass, through the sign, and act offended that j wasn't letting them in.
