I was disappointed that it was not based on any real person except for a collection of men chess players (yay feminism?)
If anything the females in the show are just as bad or as good as the men. Also the show barely touches on female empowerment (thanks for over blowing that media).

Overall? It's an ok show. It dealt more with substance addiction than anything else. The Chess in the show is average. Lot's of jump cuts and panaways during games, hard to tell what's even going on.

I wish they did more with the Janitor character : /
