What is the New Vegas mod?

As many have said, I really like the combat elements of Fallout 4, but NV did many things the best out of the three. FO3 did exploration the best with huge areas and yes many areas that had nothing to gain. That is how it would work in a real wasteland, no? It felt like other people were trying to survive in FO3. In FO4, if these stupid fucking farmers are getting raided by raiders every goddamn day, then why do they stay there? Why not move somewhere safer? The Minutemen faction was a great idea but the shallowness of the NPCs didn't make it worth it.

I was simultaneously impressed and disappointed by the build system in FO4. Without mods, the supplies were limited so you couldn't make each one as big as you wanted. With mods, you can build what you want, but getting the NPCs to not be fucking idiots is another work entirely. So with your awesome town, they just get stuck in the field for some dumb reason. If they made that aspect deeper in content, it would have made FO4 better than NV in my book.

NV's overworld was a little disappointing to me. However, the improvement to guns from FO3 was significant. The faction system was beautifully done. The casino vibe eventually grew on me. The DLC was amazing. Dead Money was challenging to the point of being annoying, but each other one was great. FO3 had great DLC too. Point Lookout's hillbilly enemies are hilarious. I haven't played through all of FO4's DLC yet, though.

And can I just say, Caravan is a really fun minigame and it doesn't make or break NV's standing, but it is really fun. I don't know where that game originates or if it truly is just a game the FO:NV guys made up.
