Second thing was also a setup for the post-credits scene
I mean, I noticed that along with those the guy touches tchalla and he goes ewwww he tocuhed me with the side glance, it's obviously going for the reverse of what people usually do agaisnt black people and I understood the point that they are trying to make but stop doing it every couple of fucking seconds jesus fucking christ.
Cause yeah, in the end he helps a ton and all is good m I rite guys? but those scenes still happened, and I'm not even white, I'm latino. I think the scenes where the white cannot fathom the level of tech these "suppossed savages" can yield is enough of a point to make wihout having to be dicks to the one white dude bumblin about lol.
It should be obvious in the context of the movie why Wakandan's wouldn't be quick to trust him.
It's not about the context of the scene but the number of sitiations the film makers introduced into the movie, as I have already numbered.
