Avoid things like peanut butter and cheese. Add more fruits, especially berries, more fiber and drink more water. Dehydration is the major cause of constipation, your bowels need water to function properly.

I have issues because my pain management has me on a heavy dose of Oxycodone daily or I can't even function. I've nearly had to become vegetarian to be able to poop at all, but use my diet to regulate my bowels.
