I did this one time, when I was a schizo with 3 anti-town roles and a bodyguard. Corrik (scum tracker) tracked me poisoning him night 1. I had a scum read and basically told town it was okay to lynch me, since my role fucking sucked for town and was better off not being in the game, but Corrik was obvscum and I wanted a 1:1 trade. 1:1 trades in either order works and enough of them wins the game for town, so I didn't care.

Then town decided to lynch plum the next day for literally no reason.

But I still saw you wildly lashing out and playing 'loud' to get people to get off of you.. at first when you still thought you had a chance to live.
if anything you only go passive once you know you're out of luck

So Ulti what's the benefit to Town of claiming untargetable right away? If you were PGO I'd understand, but seems like you'd want to absorb a scum shot first before claiming since you're likely to get offed early as Town.

ACTUALLY this is a valid point. You played this very badly if you are town, as simply claiming Sir Chris in a Mercs game would have invited all sorts of power rumblings given how major a player I was to the game's circumstances.

Some hosts think it's unfair to scum if there aren't restrictions on non-scum versions. I forget the game, but My Immortal was limited use town untargetable in a game I was mafia. League of Legends 2 maybe?

Honestly was curious, given it's usually a scum role but gravy could easily make it a Town role too

I always found the roleblocked message type to be scum, and I remember someone (I want to say Bakusai?) state that it's easy to just claim nilla with it cause they can't actually prove you're untargetable

The more I think about it the more I don't like the Benjamin miller claim. Dude played it completely straight until countered, and hasn't really joked all that much in general.

I almost feel like he saw pjbasis on a safelist, said "yeah that's an obvious miller" and claimed it immediately, then tried to play it off as a joke when Scare started explaining the theme.

I thought it was an obvious joke.... But I'm used to playing with PJ. So it's a commonly known meme for me that he claims Miller every day 1. I didn't even know PJ played Mercs, just saw Ulti claim Chris and figured I could make a joke out of claiming some User.

My wording was "Well I'm Pjbasis and I'm Miller" in response to Ulti claiming Chris. Because it was like "Well if you're Chris then I'm PJ". I even meant to quote Ulti's post before writing it, but didn't because I figured people would get it

I assure you when I claim my real role I'll make it clear I'm serious and not make it a throwaway comment like that.

mostly the fact that it happened on page1 in my case and how it came off to me
that and it wasnt his first post of the game
