Morning observations.

Boko has yet to make a vote a full 104 hours into the game.

I would be voting for KBM whose only posting the entire day was 22 hours ago and directed to me responding to my accusation calling her scum, responding by acting incredulous when I called her obtuse. There's no engagement since yesterday morning.

That said, the scales have tipped over the town point on Chris for me. I support the VI lynch fully for the same stuff Chris said, which is parallel to the logic on my initial vote.

MI - also a town read, but more in the middle. I'm tying him to dowolf (i.e. Scum/scum or town/town)

Scum in order of certainty- VI, KBM, Boko, one of Dowolf/Puns (but I don't think both), and either Han or Jeff

This post threw a flag up for me. Granted, it was one of the last ones I read catching up, but "oh I have misgivings about dowolf but ...." seems more forced than it really had to be. Like, you had to let everyone know that you REALLY DONT LIKE DOWOLF but still wanted to move your vote. It doesn't seem like a natural progression.

You could have just voted for me for the reasons you gave, and not talked about Dowolf at all.

To me, it seemed to be "over the top, but in a subtle way", if that parsing makes sense.

I like the series of posts this morning from My Immortal. I was actually starting to falter a bit on one of the guys that I think is town, but he redeemed himself a bit there.

I don't particularly dislike Nana, though.

Chris, I've been mulling over your bus driver thoughts a lot while driving to work. If you're a town bus driver, you try to bus town and scum to protect town. I am getting the feeling that we have is a town bus driver, which means that player was leaning scum on puns more than a lot of others which makes me like puns a little bit less. I still don't know if the rage was characteristic of his town or scum play or neither, and would like to know if anybody has input.

On his play, I don't have a problem with puns but based on roles and taking what other people are thinking, I'm starting to have more of a problem.

All of that said, I think I'll pursue someone I'm not a fan of

He has by far the worst vote today. I didn't really like him on day 1. I like KBM, I like MI, I feel like this is a good route to go with (even though they aren't both still on him).

I wouldn't be opposed to voting for puns. I would be very opposed to voting for JZ and KBM.

Assumptions made for the below analysis - Immy = scum, Dowolf = town

If you're scum trying to ML Dowolf, I don't see the rationale for moving to push ME instead of Dowolf with the activity as low as it was this phase and the general sentiment being that Dowolf is a viable lynch today.

I think scum MI would be more comfortable MLing Dowolf today and using the same argument you're using against me now, tomorrow.

The only way I feel that is not true is if you think I'm not as active (or, in your words, "proactive") as you feel I normally am because of external issues and you expect that I will get into a groove on Day 3, and me being in a groove and ramping up is more of a threat to you [specifically you] than Dowolf, so you'd rather get [what I would assume would be a planned] ML on me out of the way now and resolve Dowolf later.

I like Nana a little bit more now that he's doing things again. (I know, I know. I have barely any room to talk on that front.) Some of his logic feels potentially forced to me, for lack of a better word, but if I'm honest I feel the same way about plenty of interactions here -- probably because they're chock full of terminology that's still kinda alien to me. So that's not going to be my strongest suit right now, discerning the fake interaction from the more reasonable. My technique to ensure I'm not completely incapable is to just seek out dialogue that feels disingenuous in tone and structure, and to look for moments when players bring someone up seemingly at random.

(This leads me to a bit of a thought tangent: half the arguments on the net spawn from folks misunderstanding someone's posting style and misinterpreting their text as hostile. Newbie guess here: mislynches occur often due to similar circumstances.)

Speaking of moments when players bring someone up seemingly at random, here's an instance of it that I really like: Chris reminding us to be cautious over Leo. I agree with Chris that Leo may have gotten off the hook too easily with his claim. Maybe it shouldn't come as a surprise that one of the guys I suspected Day 1 is still on my suspect list. It's a gut feeling which I chose to ignore, to let subside, after Stan claimed + Stan died + FFD was mislynched. At that point, I was like, "Jeff, your gut is premature and underdeveloped, it's embryonic, maybe don't talk about having doubt toward Leo any further." So I told myself he's probably town.

Heck, I don't know. Maybe he is town. I'm weary about voting someone with a role claim. I don't know the odds he's lying in this particular case. But I wanted to at least reiterate what Chris said, that maybe we shouldn't be so quick to dismiss him altogether. That's all, I guess.

The entire thing presupposes Immy as scum - it's literally the first line. So saying "Maybe [scum Immy] moved to you because he suspected you makes zero sense. Why would scum suspect anyone?

Oh no, you're 6th/7th down on a list of 13 possible players...? That's pretty middling.

Given the players BEHIND you on that list, I just happen to like them more. I already indicated I liked Immy for now. I said I liked Chris and he had tipped town for me. Leo, though he has a wild claim as a role, is ok for now. Tbqh, the role isn't that far out given we've seen mafia Mason recruiter and some other funky bullshit in Suprak's games before.

The other three not listed are Shad, Death, and Red, and I happen to like them better than you.

I'm not convinced on Death or puns being town and think it's likely at least one of them is scum

But what seemed off with you was the way you went after death. You admitted you made something up to go after him, then when he playfully changed your quote you acted like that was the worst affront. It seemed more like you wanted to vote death and were justifying it than anything.

So we really do need to get out shit in order.

We're not actually pressuring anyone and not actually getting any claims and we just are spinning our wheels in circles - and worse, the same (or similar) circles that we've been spinning them in day 1.

We need to focus and figure this out.

After that, I haven't seen many people thinking that death, dowolf, or Shad are actually town, so let's actually get information from one of them.

My only real concern with Nana is that I don't really feel any pressure from him. Like he voted me and such but he hasn't really come at me or tried to interact with me. And I immediately responded to his vote too!

I am going to go on a limb and say I think Boko is Town. I've heard people say that he hasn't done anything, but I think he has. He's made a few really good points every now and then, and I have a feeling he's giving an effort

Speaking of, I am concerned about red. I heard a lot of talk about how that lynch was led by Town red, but I'm concerned that everyone seems to buying him that easily. I definitely think he could fake that anger at FFD just as well as scum.

I don't think Death has said enough to make me think he isn't scum. He still feels incredibly off, and his votes yesterday felt really forced. I also think he's backing off of his suspicions rather easily, still nervous.
