In Phoenix Wright Mafia, his presence on day 1 was clearly on the outside looking in. He spoke more in absolutes to establish his presence and did not push the needle very much. Compare this to the other recent games he's been in, where he was far more effective a presence day 1. In IGCD's game, I got into it with him pretty early, after he went after Aecioo. I never saw any sign of that fire or care reading his day 1 posts this game. He asked one meaningful question of another player the entire time, and made a few hard-read statements on people. Compare this to last game as well, where he notably said late in the day that he had no hard reads at all.

His play here was far more similar to Phoenix Wright.

Ok so, I wasn't originally intending to write too much here at first, then I realized what more certain facts mean overnight. My obstinacy with Corrik yesterday was mainly of a case of deja vu from Ulti in BFZ (Death and DYL can tell you about that disaster). The feeling is now in overdrive. Except this time, we have a lot of facts to help us - Panthera flipping what he did broke the game on another level, let's discuss:

Panthera flipping what he did essentially confirms Sultan to be town. Tange has already confirmed Sultan is tracker.

Corrik's claim puts us a step further though. We can only have a maximum of two anti-town left in the game. Corrik is claiming two anti-town roles exist: One that can redirect multiple people in a single night, to the same player, and one that can place a bomb on other players (or MZero being a second scum bomb).

If a scum flips that isn't either of those, Corrik is lying and needs to be lynched immediately. If Corrik is alive at final 3/4 and no other scum have flipped, Corrik must be scum. Do not forget this fact. Let's move on:

All of the following must be true if Corrik is town:

Sultan's track of Uwnim to Tange night 1 confirms Uwnim to be town. We know Uwnim is not one of those two roles.

Plum was scanned as "wind chimes" by Red. Wind chimes fits motion detector perfectly, and he was tracked by Sultan to Lea on the night he replaced in. This adds up to a very likely town Plum.

MZero is confirmed town unless the remaining layout is exactly one scum/one independent, or unless scum has two bombs on it. I see no reason to believe either. We can also still test his claim essentially for free if we want to.

So we have this if Corrik is town:

Tange is dead tonight (Scum can leave him alive as long as they want, I'm never lynching Tange).

Sultan is confirmed town by Panthera and Tange.

Corrik being town would mean Uwnim (Sultan track), Plum (Red scan, Sultan track), and MZero (Only scum under very specific scenarios that are hard to believe) are town.

Like in Simpsons, I just don't believe Death is scum and am willing to stake a read to this. (We'll see if everyone else gets like, motion detector cleared, I guess?) This leaves us:

Dels - Innocent scanned night 2, no motion scanned night 3
DamionDL - Innocent scanned night 1, no motion scanned night 3
DYL - No motion scanned night 2

This is all we have left. If Corrik is not scum, then we have two scum in that group of three. Minor notes: Corrik disliked my reasons for town reading Damion. Death was the only other one to respond, and he was good with town reading Damion, too. Not enough people responded to this. Panthera's role means the "no motion" scans we have so far probably don't mean much if anything. (I have this weird gut feeling that Panthera's power was used on Lea night 2 and Scare ended up saving the day, but I guess we'll find that out later).

With our current information: Occam's razor says these two things: Town is badly overpowered, and Corrik is scum. His claim also has a level of convenience that it allows him to be seen "acting", without posing any direct threat to scum. He was also the last person to claim an action yesterday, as well as one of the latest claims on day 2. I have the feeling town was meant to cannabilize it's own power, and it didn't. I think that's the "fun" that was supposed to happen in this game.

Though Plum, I have a serious question I want to ask you. Do you think my argument on you was as weak as Corrik says, or do you think his Uwnim argument was garbage like I do (or both, I guess)? I think his case on Uwnim sucked. I think it was reaching to all sorts of corners to extend shade. Corrik also threw a hint of shade at me regarding my going after you. He has laid the seeds to go after most players in the game, including both Uwnim and myself if you get lynched. He has also tried repeatedly to pit MZero and Lea against each other.

So in summation, I want to lynch Corrik today. The game makes drastically higher sense with Corrik as scum. If he does not flip redirector and the game is still going after this flip, then Uwnim remains confirmed town, Plum remains almost certainly confirmed town, and we put the screws on the remaining couple of possible scum. Targeting the motion detector claims so they don't overlap would be obvious at that point.

I suspect he will flip redirector, and that he has been intentionally targeting people without night actions since night 1. He claimed his Sultan action dead last yesterday, which means there is no hard reason to believe it.

If he does flip redirector, and the game continues, we have the same effect of Uwnim and Plum being forced to townconfirm people even if one of them is scum. I think it would be wise regardless to direct them today, period. Almost any flip from Corrik reduces the number of potentially-scum players left in the game to a very low number.

I will claim to make this lynch happen if it is necessary. This is far and above the best lynch. I think he is scum, and his flip will break the game regardless.

P.S. Note to hosts: Please tell the players if the day is not going up at the usual time. I've spent most of my time since 8:58 obsessively refreshing the page and either pacing or rocking in my chair. I've also probably re-read this wall at least a dozen times.

I wasn't quite right. I didn't expect Corrik to claim finding another bomb. This just got deeper.

The "bomb placer" would still be seen in motion. Damion, Dels, and DYL ALL have no motion scans and thus cannot be the "bomb placer" unless ninja.
