I'm looking back at Death's claim and personally I dont see anything that makes FD and Death look assuredly un-aligned.

But that can wait for analyzing after Death flips, because regardless if there is only one scum in the pool of Sbell, Death, and FD, it is far and away Death who I choose.

It would take scum theater around double vanilla claims for both to be scum.

Did Chang claim bp before or after red claimed vig?

I believe Chang's first hint at claiming was after Lea claimed having a day scan on day 2, where he did say he could confirm himself by being scanned. Asked many times to be scanned. Meaning if Chang is bulletproof scum, I believe he would be bulletproof godfather as well. A godfather flip would make Chang look extra towny.

Here's my summary of each of the non-confirmed or non-scanned:

chang - I thought he was town and continue to think he's town for the time being. BP claim is a bit sus but inclined to give benefit of the doubt for now.

death - I never have a good read on Death's game. He's very good at being consistent regardless of alignment. Mildly suspicious claim.

SBell - I haven't really seen much fire from SBell this game, but he was never really in the spotlight and others were pushing lynches harder. I sympathize with his position because if he is in fact town, he's being lynched almost purely for flavour reasons, which doesn't feel great. But at the same time, I can't say it doesn't fit. Peter Griffin as scum would recognize there was a flavour cop and realize they're some kind of flavour miller, albeit a bad one. But if he's godfather, then he baits a cop scan to confirm his town-ness. He's not a simpson after all. But a flavour miller that doesn't actually scan as totally town is kinda shit, and makes me not like this theory.

wallz - I'm less impressed by wallz' 'meh' vote at the end of D1 to secure ctes' lynch over Corrik given they were both scum and so far we haven't found the scum on the ctes/corrik lynch, unless we're just a pro town. and i still just don't know how to evaluate his role, he's certainly a single-use neighbor and i don't see why scum would add the extra full-game track detail. i also don't think it would be a good idea for scum wallz with the extended track to focus on ulti if he knew ulti was town. scum wallz fullgame tracking ulti doesn't make sense to me.

FD - FD started to contribute significantly more once he could start plugging details into his spreadsheets. He has been very focused on gamesolving and I haven't been late enough into a game with FD to know the balance between artificial gamesolving and genuine scumhunting. FD's particular brand as scumhunting this game strikes me as the kind of game scum would play, focusing entirely on the role meta. I have admitted prior that I don't think he gets as annoyed with me as he did if he was scum.

where this leaves me, idk, but food for thought for others

I dont know, because FD didn't claim there. And as we saw later, scum have at least one renamed power role (Corrik's role). So it does not take a vanilla or even a town to know Death was missing the renamed part of his role.

At the time I thought it was only vanillas that had renamed roles, which is why I thought FD was vanilla. When FD did claim he said "Yeah, I outed I was vanilla there", but I don't know if he did. The towny thing from FD is that he believed Death's claim there after Death clarified. As if FD also believed only vanillas had renamed roles, like I did.

But eh, now I'm fighting with myself on whether FD is cleared or not. I guess I do think FD is town, just not for the exact reason you do. And I always kill Death over FD. And FD flipping scum would not stop me from killing Death.

If wallz is scum then this part is likely a lie. He could be Jack with various other actions besides the neighbor with all the "tracked going nowhere" aspects being fabrications.

I don't consider this to be highly likely, just wanted to clarify that scum wallz would not have actually been tracking ulti every night.

oh yeah don't worry i'm considering that. was more approaching it from the lens of 'full game track' would make his role make more sense as a scum role than 'one night neighborize' if he's not jack. considering it since we've seen a janitor and strongman, so if it's a jack of all kills, the third power is probably not a neighborize/track.

also fwiw i think it's more likely that scum is voting each other at this point than with each other in terms of votal analysis

Basically at first Ctes was a very reactive player. Asking questions and commenting on things but not really taking much initiative. Outside of him wanting to know why Wallz thought a flavorcop had to exist.

He did get more proactive in topic 2, but his list for narrowing down players (while helpful as a template) was a bit odd and one sentence was even badly constructed by his own admission. It did lead him to Isquen, and I cant disagree that it is fair to want to pressure Isquen. Its just not the most impressive endeavor.

That said I basically dont think Ctes is worse looking then Ulti, Red or even Isquen.
Plus I like most of the people voting those 3 players.

I would like to hear where everyone stands on Ulti and Red at least

Death had a couple not-quite-soft-defenses of ctes, it was say, for example, him commenting that he didn't really like Kirby's sudden change to ctes. He provided a fair bit of d1 content but it was townclears and then isos that didn't really offer much, they were, in classic death fashion, neutral.

Well, that's what I came in planning to say but the Wallz kill is pretty weird for anyone other than a sole scum remaining Ulti.

I don't understand the wallz kill. Why would scum kill someone still on a questionable theory list.

I'm assuming Red shot FD. Well I was going to come in swinging at FD so that's nice to take him off the table.

I still think there's some merit to Death and Sbell looking unaligned when Death goes and guesses his flavor, but the only alternative to Sbell feels like just Chang....

JC is seemingly confirmed by the fact Sultan himself called out JC as the Mayor. We dont think he's evil enough for scum mayor right?

Scum poisoned me and Red saved me. Corrik claimed poison with the hope of bussing Death, verifying poison exists, and being doc saved. That didn't work, and then Chang started to say the missing kill was due to scum shooting him. Chang was eager to be scanned because he is Godfather BP, and I think he played a very strong scum game hampered by his teammate's timezones and wrestling committments. I wish Red hadn't shot FD, based on his flow chart scum Death meant town FD, but no matter.
