Have you been offended by something you knew wasn't intentionally trying to offend you within the last year?

Not your entire life! That would be too large of an area to measure and create inaccurate results due to everyone being different ages.

I'm talking about being offended by, comments, jokes, art, etc., things that weren't intentionally directed at you or a group you belong to with intention of offense.

Probably? I'm sure it's happened because it's possible for anybody to take offense over anything so it likely happens to everybody. Of course, Adjl would want to make a law against it.

Yes I suppose there are times where I'd feel hurt (less offended) because of carelessly thrown words/gestures by friends, colleagues or family. But I usually reign in those emotions when I realise that offense was not their intent. I do, though, point their tactless behaviour out in order to avoid these misunderstandings in the future.

No not really. If someone didn't mean it that way then i won't take it that way. I just like hearing what people have to say. Some times it isn't always nice but hey i know what they said.

Yeah.

I watched the movie The Visit and it had a really fucked up portrayel of the elderly and people with mental health problems, which kinda pissed me off as someone that works with both.

No, because I don't actively look for ways to get offended, unlike much of today's younger millennials.

Haha...this made me smile. Yes, to a certain extent today's young people are so tolerant on some things that they become so intolerant on other things. Quite the contradiction....
