Do you have mostly a positive or negative view of most politicians?

Pretty neutral, since the only politicians I am remotely familiar with are those on TV, which are garbage

Anybody who makes a career out of being in politics doesn't deserve to be in politics.

Neither does Trump, but that still doesn't change the fact that all politicians are garbage.

I usually have a negative view on politicians. Many of them are sneaky and deceitful. Furthermore, I see people as evil until they can individually prove to me they're not. Sorry for being mean, but I can't take chances.

Negative but only because of facts and history

There are two kinds of politicians, corrupt ones and ones who aren't corrupt yet. However, the public only knows about two other types, the ones busted for corruption and the ones who haven't been busted yet. Anybody with a positive view of politics is delusional. You have anti-gun state senators who got snagged trying to profit off selling guns to revolutionaries & terrorists, anti-gay politicians busted for being gay, reformers busted for taking bribes, and so on.

That's not touching on dangerous zealots. Anybody who fervently believes in government and using its power to effect change is generally a menace to the public. Granted, there are good uses because some pervasive problems require regulation.

As cliche as it sounds this reminds me of the saying about the ones most fit to lead are the ones that doesn't want to lead. Doesn't make much sense as said person might not want to do a good job so folks will stop asking him/her to lead
