I saw that the topic wasn't going anywhere aside from Blighboy and AllstarSniper32 posting lolicon pictures and decided to give it a merciful end.
That's exactly what I said in the beginning. People don't want to actually discuss things; they just want to hate it. There's little attempt or acknowledgement of any discussion other than "It's bad."

Honestly, here's my final say.
Everyone has their own fetishes. For me, being attracted to lolis is not one of them.
If they want to use it as a way to cap their fetish without acting on it and molesting little girls, fine. Go for it.

"Huh?" is the only appropriate response to a lot of your comments. In this case, I kinda think I know where you were going, but even then it's still contextually wrong because key's comment doesn't specifically preclude the idea that some people who like little girls also like animated little girls.

You can play Guitar Hero without wanting to play a real guitar, you can play roller coaster tycoon or ruthlessly kill NPC's without wanting to do them in the real world, and the same applies here. I'll extend it to other fetishes that I don't care for. There's plenty of seriously dark themes or subject matter in hentai that I absolutely don't care for. That doesn't mean that I think anyone who does like that stuff is dying to do it for real.

Flip that right back around. If you're trying to make an absolute, universal claim, it's a good idea to be able to prove it. The basic scientific approach to understanding something is to not assume you already know for absolutely certain how it works. It's not on me to prove that something is not necessarily always true; it's on others to prove that it

The only way to prove that it's not true is to ask lolicons themselves for a direct answer. And I have a feeling that if they said no, many people would just say they're lying.
