In terms of epistemology, yes - you can know for sure god not real. Even if definitely 100% exists, because unobservable - is not real.

Actually, a lot have been proven to not exist. The Greek gods which were worshiped clearly don't exist as there is no evidence on top of Mount Olympus. The Roman gods were disproven. Even the sun god Ra has been disproven as the sun has been proven to be a star and not a god.

no you can't do that shit, you said something that couldn't be observed itself wasn't real and i easily and pathetically disputed your bs, nonsensical claim. you lost but your ego refuses to admit it so it came back with this weak garbage, so i'll counter with something equally stupid:
you can argue that the effects of God ARE observable as well, and in far greater detail and number than the effects of magnetism and gravity
i mean just look around you, bro. look at the world. that shit didn't just make itself

Can you name one thing that has occurred that can irrefutably be attributed to any god? I'll wait.

Zeus and the Greek gods are no longer accepted as real.
Jupiter and the Roman gods are no longer accepted as real.
Ra and the Egyptian gods are no longer accepted as real
*insert god/goddess of whatever religion you want* is no longer accepted as real
There have been numerous deities worshiped since the dawn of human civilization. (Hinduism alone has about 320,000,000 gods!)

were u not paying attention? of course you can't prove shit about a god's existence, but neither can you disprove them b/c they're probably way outside our level of understanding

Do you agree with Putin on Gays?
Nice self-contradiction there. First you say "effects of god are observable" then turn around and say "you can't prove shit about a god's existence". So which is it? If the effect of a god are observable, then god is provable. But if god is "way outside our level of understanding", then the effects of god are not observable because we would not be able to comprehend the effects, and thus there's no way to prove god exists and therefore we must conclude he doesn't exist.
what?
no, you said magnetism and gravity weren't observable, and they factually are, therefore they exist.
the effects of a god are not observable.
because same sex couples "will not produce any children"!!
He does know god not real, right?
There have been thousands of gods created by men. None have been proven to exist because they were nothing more than fairy tales created as an excuse for what people didn't understand about how the universe and specifically how the Earth works and/or as a tool to brainwash, frighten and control the populations.
And I'm still waiting for one example of an "effect of god" that proves he exists. I don't have all day for you to back your self-contradicting claim.

i already told you--the world itself is proof of a god. space, time, physics, all that shit. the greenery of the planet we live on that enables life to exist. the big bang didn't do that shit kid
Well, @The_Beta_Male? Why is it so hard for you to offer irrefutable proof of "the effects of god"?
I do love it when people claim their god exists then run away when people stand up and challenge them to back their claim up with proof..... XD

i literally already did that. your post here is acknowledging that while also conceding the victory to me but doing so in a trollsy manner to hide your shame and bruised ego
better luck in your next internet argument, kiddo
Marriage shouldn't be a function of government anyway.
I didn't lose anything. I'm not the one claiming some skydaddy created everything then runs away when someone asks them to prove such a ridiculous claim.
Again, where is YOUR evidence? Or are you too ducking stupid to understand such a simple concept as backing up your claim with irrefutable proof? If you cannot prove your skydaddy created everything, then you have lost.
And nice try with the "you're a lurker" bit, it made me laugh. (I've been around far longer than you, kid, and more active than you judging by your info tag)

Atheism is not a religion.
I notice nobody ever talks about Allah when telling religious people how silly they are.

If you're telling them that belief in a mythological being is irrational, it doesn't really matter how they translate his name in other languages.

The definition of religion is believing in a deity or deities.
It's a religious label in the sense that it's at the very least am acknowledgement of religion. Also every thesis had an antithesis
Therefore "none" would be a perfectly reasonable religious label.
