It seems like most people wouldn't name their child after a video game character, but I feel like a middle name would be slightly more reasonable.

I have the Middle name of a video game character, my son has the first name of one. We got them well before the video game came out. I got mine before video games.
I don't think I would ever actively use a video game name for my kids though.

How would I choose? I mean even if I changed my last name, and made his first name another character name, I Still wouldn't be able to choose.

If I got a daugher (which won't happen as I intend to not bring kids to this world.), I wouldn't mind calling her Celes. It's a beautiful name and doesn't have to sound cheezy.
