16 y/o Joshua Mileto, an aspiring football player was killed at Football Summer Camp after the 400 POUND LOG he was carrying with teammates FELL on him during a training exercise!!
He apparently slipped while carrying the massive 10 foot log and was instantly killed when it fell on top of him in Long Island, New York.
He and another boy fell while members of the team were carrying the log that occurred at 8:40am
CPR was attempted on the field but Joshua suffered massive trauma and could not be revived when rushed to Stony Brook University Hospital
It was a preseason conditioning camp at the school that was superverised by coaches when the accident occurred.
The family is devastated by the loss of their son as his mother wrote on her FB "My sweet sweet baby boy. You continue to be selfless and i couldn't be more proud of you my love. Remember, Mommy loves you"
His organs were also doanted according to the finaly as the 11th grader's funeral will be held this Tuesday.
The Farmingville community already raised 40,000 to help cover costs.
