The middle option is scientifically wrong, because it's a proven fact that temperature alters how your taste buds detect "sweet" and "bitter". Sweet tastes get stronger when you warm them up, and bitterness gets stronger the colder something is.

However, that depends wholly on your interpretation of "sameness" which, within the context, could refer to being identical in quality. Barring that, there are differences in sensitivity with taste buds.

I hate cold drinks. I drink my water and soda at room temperature. The only reason I drink juice cold is because it would go bad otherwise. Slushies also give me terrible stomachaches.

I prefer cold, but I usually drink them at room temperature because its more convienent to have soda in my room than downstairs in my fridge.

I think you have Dr Pepper confused with Dr Prepper. Easy mistake to make. Know what's also a mistake? Drinking any form of Dr Pepper.

I hate ice in anything except water because it dilutes the beverage. And then I usually don't trust it in water because restaurants don't clean out their ice machines often enough.
