Do you ever read instruction/user manuals?

And we all watch unboxing videos.

Depends on said product. Even something as simple as a battery charger might use different indicators to show the batteries are fully charged. My old charger goes from blinking light to solid light. My new one has solid light when charging and turn off when full.

I always used to read the ones for games on the way home.

For other stuff, depends if I need the instructions or not.

Vehicles - yes.

Cell phones - yes.

All the time.

Like PMarth mentioned, back before I could drive I'd read it on the way home regardless of whether or not I need the info. It was a great way to get even more excited about playing the game once I get home.

And when I could drive, I'd still read it and look through the manual just for the sake of it. Not having it in games now makes me sad.

My family has said for years that "When all else fails, read the instructions" is our official family motto.

The other favorite (and the one PotD will probably wholeheartedly agree with for me) is "If you can dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with bullshit."
