Guess I missed the RPG one... Also sad that there's no Evil Zone / Eretzvaju in this poll. One of my favorite fighting games ever.

Such a shame that Bushido Blade flew under the radar when it was released. It didn't have the flash of Street Fighter or Soul Edge, but it had a brilliant style of its own. I loved the decision to move away from health bars, and instead implement a system focused around landing that one crippling hit that would allow you to kill your opponent. Great game.

Wild 9 was great, I've never played Clock Tower or Evil Zone so I'll have to check those out.
If we get enough extra suggestions I'm happy to do a separate beat em up poll-that's the first one that's been mentioned, surprisingly.

Evil Zone was a fighting game, would've gone in this poll. It was great. Basically every character was a parody of an anime archetype and their story modes were presented as episodes of a TV program. They got over the top attacks (my favorite was the power ranger parody calling in a satellite strike) and cheesy lines with Hong Kong Dubbing (ie, lip movement doesn't match the English vocals at all)... just awesome.
And there was only one attack button. Some complained about it, I thought it was nice, never liked overly complex fighting game inputs. Depending on distance from the foe, directional button you use with the attack button, whether you tap or hold it, etc... you did different attacks, such that each character probably had 20 unique attacks or so.

No Battle Arena Toshinden? So forgotten it didn't make the cut on the forgotten list.

Of these I've only played Ehrgeiz and only for like 5 fights.

I played them all, other fighters you could add would be Zero Divide, Rise 2: Resurrection

I think other forgotten games would be:

The Unholy War (Fighting/Strategy)

Braver Fencer Mushashi (Action role-playing, platform)

Jet Moto (Racing)

Awesome game that, own on both PS1 disc and PSN. Sequel too, though that one is rather crap.

I played Bushido Blade a bit.

I didn't play Bloody Roar until I got a PS2 version.

I played a demo of Rival Schools.

That is a good one, and yes it was just that badly forgotten lol. I'm strongly considering some sort of wildcard/lightning round for a handful that didn't get submitted in time for their poll but are highly requested so this might make it in there...
