What language should I invest time to learn?

What would result in more opportunities? Especially for someone in the sales and marketing field?

I would guess that more people probably speak German than the other two.
German. It's more common and probably the easiest to learn.
Donald J. Trump--proof against government intelligence.
For opportunities, German definitely. The other two are very difficult and not nearly as widely spoken,
Everything is awesome
German would be the most useful. I learned this back at school but have forgot most of it. Still I enjoyed it. My uncle lived in Germany for years too.

Uh... Where do you live, exactly?

Because Chinese or Spanish may be better investments

Spanish or Portuguese have a lot of speakers, so if you want to reach a lot of clients, maybe those will do?
Icelandic is a dying language, so if you chose to learn it you would be helping keep it alive... But if you're just looking for opportunities, don't expect much. Swedish > German tho.

German, then you can go on angry tirades and it would sound hilarious.
This is my signature, there are many others like it, but this one is mine.
If you take 110% of what I say seriously then you're gonna have a bad time.

Learn Russian. Useful even for US presidents.
You havent set a signature for the message boards yet
If you're going to learn Swedish, then you should also know the difference how you say 'Yes' in northern Sweden and the rest of the country ; )

Here's what I mean:

Seriously though, German is probably the best option here. Hell even I voted for German.
For real though, just go with whatever the hell you find most culturally interesting.

If you don't have a passion for a language, you WILL give up early.
Out of the three choices, only German is practical. However, you're better off going with another language. Spanish or Chinese (specifically Mandarin) will probably yield better long-term advantages.
