Athiesm is modern.
pretty sure Athiesm has been around a long time, just as a minority and probably not openly admitted to due to it just being easier to go with the flow of all the religious people around.

There is a difference between not trusting God exists and outright denying the existence of God.
Confidence in knowledge over faith is fairly new, it requires a big enough knowledge base to not be reliant on faith.
More murder has been performed in the name of religion than anything else in history.
A strongly diverse population weakens a nation. If we're going to get rid of Christianity we need a strong push for an alternative otherwise division and conflict is sown and our enemies will profit.

It used to be soo good back then, too bad it changed.

It's not. It's literally as old as religion.
Wonder how much of that decline was because of people realizing that the people running the religion were covering up for a gang of pedophiles.

Tell that to the Soviet Union, Maoist China, North Korea, Cambodia, Cuba, Nazi Germany, and their satellite states.
All of which were atheist regimes. If they used religion, they falsified it for their agenda.
they killed more in a shorter span sure, but hes talking over all through out history

150 million to 300 million killed by government in the span of a century is less than "throughout history"?
Especially when there was less than 100 million people worldwide at any given time in antiquity? Make that the single millions during prehistoric times.
well with nazi germany you can equate it to religion. just the hate of one instead in promotion of one.

All of what I stated hated religion in all forms. The Soviets persecuted Jews and Catholics, so those who were "liberated" in concentration camps during World War 2, ended up in horrid conditions, if not outright sent to their gulags or interrogated after being tortured.
so religion was involved. I could have swore hitler identified as christian though, history class was a long time ago though.

He was born Catholic (only on his mother's side, as his father was an atheist), and although he never did leave the Church, his personal works reveal that he not only was an atheist, but his Table Talks showed that he would use "Positive Christianity" as a ruse in Germany (seeing how it was majorly atheistic since the 1860's census"), but then completely destroy it all in "Kirchenkampf", or "Church Struggle", in which all true believing Christians were to be killed, all churches were to be destroyed, all Bibles banned, and living in a perpetual atheistic socialist state revolving around eugenics (rather than class warfare).
All this would have happened if Nazi Germany would have won World War 2.
umm... I was always taught in schools one of his parents was a jew, and practically the source of his hatred towards jews. once again though history class was a long time ago for me, and its come to my attention since growing up, sometimes they teach you outright lies.

If Hitler had any Jewish connections, it was obscure or minimal.
His hatred of the Jews stems from the fact that they tended to keep gold instead of paper money, so they were the only ones who remained rich during the hyperinflation following World War 1.

Nope.
His mother was Catholic. His father was an atheist.
"Closely related to his support of education was his tolerant skepticism concerning religion. He looked upon religion as a series of conventions and as a crutch for human weakness, but, like most of his neighbors, he insisted that the women of his household fulfill all religious obligations. He restricted his own participation to donning his uniform to take his proper place in festivals and processions. As he grew older Alois shifted from relative passivity in his attitude toward the power and influence of the institutional Church to a firm opposition to "clericalism," especially when the position of the Church came into conflict with his views on education." - Smith, Bradley F. Adolf Hitler: His Family, Childhood and Youth Hoover Institute, 1967 p.27
ok so its cloudy memory looked it up. there was a rumor that hitlers grandfather was a jew, but he could never find any evidence backing it up.

There is just about as much evidence of Adolf Hitler having Jewish ancestry, as there is of Trump's Russia collusion.
Nothing
Americans who identify themselves as White and Christian have now dropped below 50% as it now stands at 43% when it was 80% 40 years ago!!

This doesn't represent a decline in Christianity. This represents a decline in the white population.

not so much a decline in white population, more of a increase in minority populations.

Perhaps I'm reading into another line in the post: "Latino and African American Christians have partly obscured the decline among White Christians". So this means some were coming in as others were going out. Which means Christianity is holding steady.
If it were just other demographics becoming Christain then Christianity would be on an increase. Participation by other demographics would have had to quintuple to lower the white percentage that much and grow churches by 87%.
